Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver quality radiologic procedures for accurate diagnostic interpretation
Practice radiation safety and ALARA standards while protecting patients
Perform QC procedures and operate equipment per manufacturer guidelines
Educate patients, verify orders, and document medical histories with care
Assist with clerical duties, patient transport, and cross-training team members
Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain supply inventory independently
Take call, work overtime, and rotate to other imaging modalities as needed

Qualifications

ARRT registration in Radiology (R) and at least one other modality like CT, MR, M, N, or S
ARDMS registration for sonography roles if applicable
Current BLS certification or obtained within 90 days
Prior experience as a Technologist preferred, with encouragement to cross-train
Able to pass background check, drug screen, and employee health requirements

Education

Must be at least 16 years of age (21 for driving positions)
Eligible for required registries within 1 year of hire if not already held

Knowledge & Skills

Advanced knowledge of imaging procedures in multiple modalities
Radiation safety and ALARA standards
Patient care and education
Equipment operation and QC procedures
PACS, RIS/HIS, and Microsoft Office proficiency
Effective communication and independent judgment
