Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic testing and general maintenance on equipment
Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation exposure
Clean x-ray room and equipment daily
Perform quality control tasks and maintain reports
Assist with general office duties like scheduling and answering phones

Qualifications

ARRT Registered
CT certification
Basic Life Support certification
Minimum of 6 months experience in Computerized Tomography
Completion of formal radiological technologist training in an AMA-approved program

Education

Completion of formal radiological technologist training in an AMA-approved program

Knowledge & Skills

Radiation protection techniques
Quality control tasks
Diagnostic testing and general maintenance on equipment
MRI techniques (preferred)
