Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
• Monitor patients’ basic health indicators and report changes to nursing staff
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
• Support the care team by documenting care accurately and timely
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and basic rehabilitation tasks
• Communicate respectfully with patients and families to promote dignity and trust

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required depending on facility
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
• Comfortable providing direct patient care, including lifting and transfers
• Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
• Previous CNA experience is a plus but caring attitude and reliability matter most

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Completed CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Basic patient care and ADL support
• Vital signs measurement and basic charting
• Infection control and hygiene best practices
• Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
• Effective, respectful patient and family communication
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy setting
