Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $23 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes promptly
  • Support safe patient transfers and positioning with proper body mechanics
  • Assist nursing team with treatment plans and timely documentation
  • Maintain a clean, organized patient environment and follow infection control procedures
  • Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team

Qualifications

  • Current CNA certification (required)
  • Valid state authorization to practice as a CNA in California
  • BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Previous experience in a clinical or long-term care setting is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
  • Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

  • Skilled at taking and recording vital signs and patient observations
  • Familiarity with patient lifting and transfer techniques
  • Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
  • Comfortable with basic electronic documentation or charting
  • Team-oriented, reliable, and organized under fast-paced conditions
