Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care including assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
Monitor residents for changes in condition and report observations to the nursing team
Support safe mobility and fall prevention through attentive assistance
Maintain accurate documentation of care and resident interactions
Build trusting relationships with residents and families to promote dignity and comfort
Assist with mealtime, transfers, and toileting while following infection control standards

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Clean background check, relevant immunizations, and TB screening as required
Comfortable working with diverse adult and geriatric populations
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing is a plus

Education

High school diploma or GED (preferred)
Completed state-approved CNA training program and current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills for patient care and vital sign monitoring
Knowledge of ADLs (activities of daily living) and safe transfer techniques
Infection control best practices and proper PPE use
Ability to document care accurately and clearly
Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
Time management and teamwork in a fast-paced healthcare setting
