Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition to nursing staff
• Assist with bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility needs
• Support safe transfers and use proper body mechanics to protect patients and yourself
• Document patient observations and care provided accurately and timely
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team to deliver patient-centered care
• Contribute to a positive, respectful environment that supports dignity and recovery

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
• CPR/BLS certification preferred or completion upon hire if required by facility
• Comfortable assisting with mobility, personal care, and basic clinical tasks
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team
• Background check and any facility-required screenings/clearances
• Previous experience as a CNA is a plus but supportive training is available

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care and infection control practices
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Familiarity with safe patient handling techniques
• Comfort working as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
