Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and accurately record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
Support documentation in patient charts and electronic records with attention to detail
Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
Follow infection control practices and facility policies to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Successful completion of background check and required health screenings
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable with physical aspects of the role, including lifting and patient transfers
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational patient care skills and knowledge of ADLs
Ability to take and document vital signs accurately
Understanding of basic infection control and safety protocols
Familiarity with common patient care equipment and transfer techniques
Clear communication and teamwork skills
Basic comfort with electronic health record documentation
