Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care including hygiene, mobility assistance, and comfort measures
Take and document vital signs, intake/output, and routine observations accurately
Assist the nursing team with safe patient transfers and mobility to prevent falls
Maintain clear, timely documentation and communicate changes in patient status
Support infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Build trusting relationships with patients and families while advocating for their needs

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Georgia or eligible for reciprocity
Demonstrated ability to work 12.5-hour shift blocks with stamina and focus
Strong communication and teamwork skills — you’ll coordinate closely with nurses and providers
Current basic life support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain
Reliable, patient-centered attitude and attention to detail

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Patient hygiene, ambulation, and bedside care
Accurate vital sign measurement and basic clinical observations
Basic infection prevention and safety best practices
Documentation and electronic charting familiarity
Time management and the ability to prioritize tasks during a busy shift
Compassionate communication with patients and families
