Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered personal care and assistance
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Support safe patient transfers and mobility, following facility protocols
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
Observe and communicate changes in patient condition to the care team
Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (must meet Georgia requirements) or equivalent
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass required background checks and drug screening
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Comfortable with physical demands of patient care and safe lifting practices

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
Infection control and hand hygiene practices
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Accurate documentation and time management
Teamwork and clear communication with nurses and interdisciplinary staff
