Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) with dignity and compassion
- Provide safe, attentive bedside care during the assigned 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM shift
- Measure and document vital signs and report changes to the nursing team promptly
- Support mobility and transfer assistance to prevent falls and promote independence
- Maintain accurate patient records and communicate clearly during handoffs
- Ensure a clean, comfortable environment and follow infection control policies
Qualifications
- Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
- Valid state-required certifications and ability to provide proof upon hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
- Ability to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
- Available for the per diem assignment on 2026-04-16 (shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient care and ADL assistance delivered with empathy
- Basic clinical skills: vital signs, safe transfers, infection control
- Clear, compassionate communication with patients and team members
- Time management and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting
- Accurate documentation and attention to detail
