Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living — bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Provide compassionate, respectful patient care that preserves dignity
• Take and record vital signs, observe patient condition and report changes
• Support nursing team with safe patient transfers and positioning
• Document care delivered accurately and communicate handoffs clearly
• Help maintain a clean, comfortable and safe environment for patients

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Comfortable working independently on per-diem assignments and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to patient-centered care

Education

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Completion of an accredited CNA training program required

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient care and bedside manners
• Competence in taking vitals and recognizing changes in condition
• Clear communication skills with patients, families, and care teams
• Ability to follow care plans, safety protocols, and infection control practices
• Basic charting and documentation skills
