Location: Olympia Fields, Illinois

End Date: 06-09-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM + call rotation. On call required every 2-3rd weekend, 1-3/week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations throughout cardiovascular procedures
Provide holistic support addressing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs in a surgical environment
Collaborate closely with physicians offering continuous updates on patient status
Prepare and maintain procedure rooms ensuring all equipment is functioning properly
Monitor physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
Continuously assess and document patient condition while maintaining thorough records
Support quality initiatives participating in performance improvement activities

Qualifications

Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License required
Current BCLS (AHA) and ACLS certification required
One year clinical experience in Cardiovascular Lab or Critical Care area required
Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Education

Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Registered Nursing expertise in cardiovascular procedures
Cardiac Cath Lab and Cardiology knowledge
Critical Care and Patient Monitoring skills
Hemodynamic Monitoring proficiency
Equipment preparation and inventory management
