Roles & Responsibilities

Lead with excellence in financial and operational management to drive department success
Supervise Lead and Senior Technologists while fostering a positive team environment
Ensure top-notch image quality control and enforce key policies for patient safety
Champion quality improvement and regulatory compliance to elevate patient care
Manage daily staffing to hit productivity goals and support employee satisfaction
Act as a vital liaison between patients, families, physicians, and care teams
Promote best practices in a staff and patient-centered approach to healthcare
Maintain clinical competencies to perform diagnostic procedures when needed

Qualifications

Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology (CRT) from California Department of Health Services or ARRT license
Current CPR Certification
Five years experience as a Diagnostic Technologist in acute-care
Two years supervisory experience in acute-care
Desired: Specialized certification like NMTBC or MRI, Associate Degree, and 3-5 years prior supervisory experience

Education

Associate Degree (desired)
Five years Diagnostic Technologist experience in acute-care
Two years supervisory experience in acute-care

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in Joint Commission, Title 17 & 22, ACR compliance
Strong grasp of radiographic principles, radiation safety, and patient positioning
Self-motivated with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Proven leadership to motivate, delegate, and optimize resources
