Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem nights (varies), 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and compassion
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
Provide safe mobility assistance and support fall prevention efforts
Document care accurately and timely to maintain clear resident records
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team to promote well-being
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Current GNA certification (Class: GNA) — required
High school diploma or GED preferred
Comfortable working the overnight shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Ability to pass background check and meet facility immunization requirements
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to geriatric care
CPR/BLS certification preferred

Education

High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and assistance with ADLs
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Familiarity with documentation best practices
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Strong interpersonal skills for working with residents and the care team
