Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Generally set schedule 5 days/wk but likely to include 1 weekend day

Candidate Pay Rate: $74 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional speech therapy services to patients in acute care, inpatient rehab, and SNF settings
Independently perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies in radiology without supervision
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient-centered goals
Document patient progress in Meditech and paper/pencil for outpatient care
Adapt to floating to other facilities based on census and staffing needs

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably with SNF or rehab hospital experience
Active Hawaii state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology (or ability to obtain by start)
BLS certification required
ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) required
Experience with acute care and Modified Barium Swallow Studies independently

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in completion of Modified Barium Swallow Studies
Experience with EMR systems, especially Meditech and Epic
Strong rehabilitation therapy skills for acute and SNF settings
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
