Shift Type: Variable - 8 hour shifts, days, evenings, or nights

Hours per Week: 32

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform laboratory tests and quality control procedures
Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and patients
Operate and maintain clinical laboratory instrumentation
Provide direction and support to Medical Laboratory Assistants
Ensure accurate and timely test results for patient care

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field
Board eligible by NCA or ASCP (certification within 1 year of hire)
1-3 years of progressively responsible microbiology experience
Certification as MT (ASCP) or CLS (NCA) within 1 year
Ability to work independently

Education

Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in microbiology techniques
Clinical laboratory instrumentation expertise
Laboratory generalist skills
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Capability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
