Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, rotating start times

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Coordinate care for specialty service line patients from initial clinic visit through surgery and follow-up
Provide direct patient care including assessment, treatment support, and education
Serve as a liaison between care teams, providers, and patients for seamless communication
Manage prior authorizations, referrals, and patient documentation
Triage patient calls and respond to portal messages promptly
Maintain clean, stocked exam rooms and assist with procedures

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited RN program
Current RN license (active in Colorado or compact state)
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
Minimum 5 years of outpatient or hospital nursing experience
Previous traveler experience is required
Experience with Cerner electronic health record

Education

Graduate of an accredited RN program required

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and care coordination skills
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Proficient with Microsoft Office and electronic health records
Knowledge of pain management and surgical services
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinic environment
