Pharmacy Technician – UHC Staffing

Pharmacy Technician

Location: Westerville, Ohio

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM; Saturday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $45 - $31.5 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals
Assist customers with prescription needs and answer questions about medications
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with all regulatory requirements
Process insurance claims and handle payment transactions

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience as a Pharmacy Technician
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred
Active Ohio Pharmacy Technician registration or license
High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology and drug interactions
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with pharmacy software and systems
