Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients in the emergency room
- Triage patients and assess urgent medical needs
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes
- Document patient information accurately and timely
- Respond quickly to life-threatening situations
Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Current BLS certification
- ACLS certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of ER experience
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Education
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Emergency nursing procedures and protocols
- Patient assessment and triage
- IV therapy and medication administration
- Use of medical equipment such as defibrillators and ventilators
- Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
