Location: Redding, California

Start Date: 06-19-2026

End Date: 09-17-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, shifts vary between 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 10:45 AM - 7:00 PM, with on-call 2-3 days per week and every other weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert perioperative nursing care in the cardiovascular operating room
Assist in DaVinci XI robotic surgeries and open heart procedures
Collaborate with a skilled surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Monitor patient vitals and manage surgical instruments and supplies
Participate in on-call coverage for emergent cardiovascular cases

Qualifications

Current and valid RN license (preferred, any state) - compact license a plus
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 3 years of CVOR experience with proven DaVinci XI proficiency
Previous acute care hospital experience is essential

Knowledge & Skills

Expert knowledge of cardiovascular surgical anatomy and procedures
Proficient in robotic-assisted surgery and minimally invasive techniques
Strong communication and teamwork skills in high-stress environments
Ability to adapt to varying shift schedules and on-call demands
