End Date: 04-10-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, with on-call rotation and every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Serve as the circulating nurse in the operating room, ensuring a safe and sterile environment
Coordinate surgical procedures, anticipate surgeon needs, and manage patient flow
Assist with patient positioning, prep, and intraoperative monitoring
Collaborate with the surgical team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate records and documentation in EPIC EMR

Qualifications

Current and valid California RN license
BLS (AHA) certification upon hire
ACLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire
PALS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire
Minimum 1 year of OR circulating experience with Ortho and ENT cases
EPIC EMR experience required
CNOR certification preferred
BSN preferred

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in orthopedic and ENT surgical procedures
Strong circulating skills in a fast-paced OR environment
Proficient in EPIC EMR documentation
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to take call and work every other weekend
