Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist elderly residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
Provide compassionate care and emotional support to geriatric patients
Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Document care provided accurately and timely
Collaborate with the care team to ensure resident well-being

Qualifications

Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor
Valid state or federal issued identification for badge

Knowledge & Skills

Solid understanding of geriatric care principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
Attention to detail and strong observational skills
Flexibility to adapt to changing resident needs
