Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to geriatric residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and dignity
Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
Support residents during meals and provide feeding assistance as needed
Engage residents in activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment

Qualifications

Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
CPR certification preferred
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing a plus
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassion and empathy for elderly patients
Reliability and punctuality
Ability to follow care plans and facility protocols
