Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shifts, 10 hours, 4 days per week. On-call required: 12 days per month including 4 weekend days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $88 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab
Assist physicians during catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements
Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as needed
Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure care to patients
Maintain a sterile field and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care

Qualifications

Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
NIHSS certification required
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience preferred
Availability to meet on-call requirements (12 days/month including weekends)
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Proficiency in sterile technique and infection control
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability to changing patient conditions and procedures
