Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform mobile ultrasound exams using portable sonographic equipment in nursing homes, home care facilities, and other sites
• Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent images and send them digitally to a Radiologist for interpretation
• Self-dispatch or call dispatch to obtain beginning case load, and arrive at first case at start of shift
• Verify patient identity using two identifiers and ensure orders match the patient's chart
• Scan exam-related paperwork and billing daily per protocol
• Maintain vehicle and sonographic equipment, and train other technologists as required
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, peers, supervisory staff, and clients

Qualifications

• Registered with ARDMS or CCI for vascular ultrasound (must be Vascular and General: ARDMS RVT & AB, CCI RVS, or ARRT R.T.(VS))
• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass drug screening and background check
• Self-motivated, dependable, able to work independently with little supervision
• Basic smartphone operation and computer skills
