Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of nursing care procedures requiring professional knowledge and consideration for specific patient conditions and treatments
Work independently in completing assignments and supporting patients of all ages and their families
Follow physician orders, standards of care, nursing policies and procedures, and hospital policies
Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care in a culturally diverse community
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgeons, pediatricians, and other medical providers

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Valid, current, full and unrestricted Professional Nursing License in any U.S. state or territory
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification from the American Heart Association
P-CAR (Pediatric Trauma Care After Resuscitation) completed within 6 months of hire
NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification completed within 6 months of hire

Education

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Pediatric nursing and acute care expertise
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Adaptability to a diverse cultural environment
