Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 36 hours per week (3x12-hour shifts), includes weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients comprehensively and develop individualized care plans
Implement and evaluate nursing interventions for mother/baby dyads
Act as charge nurse and mentor to team members
Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality care
Float to other departments as a safety companion when needed
Promote a safe environment and educate patients and families
Demonstrate leadership and professional development

Qualifications

Current Montana Registered Nurse License (active)
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
American Heart Association BLS certification
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, recertified every 2 years
STABLE certification within two years of hire
Willingness to float and act as charge nurse

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care
Proficiency in Point Click EMR
Strong patient assessment and critical thinking
Charge nurse and leadership capabilities
Effective collaboration and communication
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, stressful environment
