Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to patients, assisting with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Support emotional well-being of patients through active listening and companionship
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
- Current CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
- At least 6 months of experience in a clinical setting preferred
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude
- Reliable and able to adapt to different assignments
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient care and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Time management and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
