Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (12-hour shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents in a skilled nursing/rehab center
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and meal support
Monitor vital signs and report changes to the nursing team
Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients
Collaborate with a supportive interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
Minimum 6 months of long-term care or rehab experience preferred
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Compassionate and dependable team player

Education

High school diploma or GED equivalent
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of infection control and safety practices
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift and transfer patients safely
Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
