Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate care to geriatric residents
- Assist with activities of daily living like bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Support residents' emotional and social well-being
Qualifications
- Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption required
- Must bring state/federal ID and wear photo badge at all times
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of geriatric care best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Time management and organizational skills
