Location: Bangor, Maine

Start Date: 07-20-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, schedule varies, includes weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to surgical and orthopedic patients
Monitor telemetry and patient vitals closely
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
Act as a patient advocate and coordinate discharge planning

Qualifications

Active Maine RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications (required within 30 days)
3+ years of nursing experience
Telemetry experience preferred
Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
MOAB or CPI certifications preferred

Education

Current Maine RN License
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in Point Click EMR
Knowledge of surgical and orthopedic nursing practices
Flexibility with changing schedules and patient needs
