Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: As needed, 5:45 AM - 2:15 PM (shift timings may vary)

Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with daily living activities such as meals, mobility, and toileting
Monitor and report changes in residents' condition to nursing staff
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Document care provided and observations accurately and timely
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care

Qualifications

Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Maine
Current BLS or CPR certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
Commitment to providing respectful and dignified care

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic patient care principles and infection control
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent observation and reporting skills
Time management and organizational skills
Empathy and patience when working with elderly or ill patients
