Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days vary, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (12-hour shifts)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $16 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
Support mobility and transfer needs to ensure patient safety
Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
Current BLS certification (preferred)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Compassionate and patient-centered mindset

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in taking vital signs and patient monitoring
Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
Ability to assist with lifting and transferring patients
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Basic computer skills for documentation
