Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate behavioral health support to patients in an inpatient setting
Administer medications and monitor patient responses
Conduct patient assessments and document progress accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
Implement therapeutic interventions and crisis management techniques
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and coping strategies

Qualifications

Active Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) license in California
Current BLS (CPR) certification
Minimum 1 year of recent psychiatric technician experience preferred
Ability to work evening shifts and weekends as scheduled
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of psychiatric medications and side effects
Proficient in patient charting and documentation
Understanding of behavioral health interventions
Crisis prevention and de-escalation techniques
Team collaboration and patient advocacy
