Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate and respectful care to geriatric residents
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Support residents' mobility and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Document care provided accurately and timely

Qualifications

Valid Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
At least 6 months of experience in a long-term care setting preferred
Compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude
Ability to lift and transfer residents safely

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Time management and organizational skills
Basic computer proficiency for documentation
