Start Date: 07-04-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Flexible evening shifts, typically 1:45 PM - 10:15 PM, including weekends and holidays as needed

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to residents, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Document care provided accurately and timely
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Maine
BLS certification preferred
Previous experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting a plus
Must be at least 18 years of age
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Knowledge & Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Time management and organizational skills
Basic computer skills for documentation
