Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and function
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Document patient treatments and outcomes accurately and timely
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy environment

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of New Hampshire
Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
At least 1 year of recent experience as a PTA in a clinical setting
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

Associate's degree in Physical Therapist Assisting

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of therapeutic exercise, modalities, and gait training
Ability to adapt treatment plans to patient needs
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
Excellent time management and organizational skills
