Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12 hour nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to oncology and trauma PCU patients from diagnosis through remission
Manage PCU and MedSurg ratios of 1:4 to 1:6 with confidence
Administer chemotherapy, heparin, cardizem, and protonix drips expertly
Titrate insulin and cardizem as needed in this dynamic mixed unit
Float to similar PCU and MedSurg units while maintaining high standards
Perform hourly rounding to enhance patient experience and outcomes
Collaborate with charge nurses, educators, and support staff for seamless teamwork

Qualifications

Active RN license
2 years of recent experience preferred, open to first-time travelers
Chemotherapy certification required
ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications
ONS/ONCC certification

Education

BSN not required

Knowledge & Skills

EPIC charting proficiency
Ventilator management
Hemodynamic monitoring including CVP, A-line, Swan, EV-1000
Oncology and PCU experience
Teamwork and positive attitude even on tough days
