Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate acute psychiatric care to geriatric patients aged 60+
Manage care in a 10-bed short-term unit with a strong, competent team
Assess and support patients in a fast-paced, meaningful environment
Collaborate with 2-3 RNs per shift to ensure top-notch patient outcomes

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years acute RN experience with some psych background
Active RN license
BLS and CPI certifications required
Strong and competent skills for high-impact geriatric psych care

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in geriatric psychiatric nursing
Proficiency in acute care settings
Crisis intervention through CPI training
Solid teamwork in small, dedicated shift crews
