Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to patients in acute rehab, helping them regain independence
Perform ADLs and assist with 1:1 mealtime support to enhance patient nutrition
Execute safe mobility transfers using specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts
Manage lines including Foley care, NG tubes, PICCs and midlines with precision
Round on patients each shift to ensure they're discharge-ready and feeling supported
Collaborate with PT, OT and ST teams for optimal patient therapy participation
Celebrate patient discharges with heartfelt clap-out ceremonies that make every milestone special

Qualifications

Active RN license in good standing
BLS certification required, NIHSS preferred
At least 2 years of nursing experience
Med/surg training essential

Education

RN degree from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Med/surg nursing expertise
Rehabilitation background a plus
Safe patient transfer techniques
Familiarity with cardiac telemetry, IV equipment and kangaroo pumps
Proficiency in Meditech documentation
