Shift Type: Variable nights, Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to progressive care unit patients, monitoring vital signs and responding swiftly to changes
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments with precision while educating patients and families
Advocate for patient needs and ensure a safe, healing environment
Document patient progress accurately to support seamless continuity of care

Qualifications

Active RN license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of recent PCU or similar nursing experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Kentucky RN license or willingness to obtain via compact
Travel nursing experience a plus but not required

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills
Excellent IV and medication administration proficiency
Effective communication and patient assessment abilities
Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-acuity settings
