Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Full-time, 3x12 hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate labor and delivery care to mothers and newborns
Monitor fetal heart rates and manage high-risk deliveries with confidence
Recover mothers post-delivery and perform newborn assessments and transitions
Handle OB emergencies like shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage
Assist with C-sections, inductions and couplet care in a supportive LDRP unit
Collaborate with experienced team members for seamless patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Tennessee
Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience
BLS, NRP and Fetal Monitoring training required
Comfortable with inductions using Pitocin and Cervidil
Ready to rock pink or brown scrubs for infant security

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in laboring and recovering mothers
Newborn reception, transition and assessment
Fetal monitoring and OB emergency management
C-section support and high-acuity couplet care
Experience with shoulder dystocia and PP hemorrhage
