Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM with minimum 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor telemetry for cardiac patients making a real difference in their recovery
Manage chest tubes and epidurals with precision and care
Administer cardiac drips and IV therapies to stabilize complex cases
Care for post-CV surgery patients supporting their healing journey
Collaborate with a dynamic team in a fast-paced 40-bed unit
Handle overflow cardiology cases with compassion and expertise

Qualifications

Active RN license
2+ years of experience
BLS and ACLS certifications
Stepdown and telemetry experience required
Ready to float to other SD or MS units as needed

Education

RN degree from accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in CV surgery and vascular surgery patient care
Proficiency with Cerner EMR
Comfortable with Baxter IV pumps and CADD epidural pumps
Skilled in managing cardiac gtts like amiodarone and heparin
Team player who thrives in fast-paced environments
