Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 guaranteed hours weekly with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver critical care to MICU patients, making a real difference in their recovery
Manage ventilators, dialysis, central lines and bedside procedures with confidence
Collaborate with the team on intubations, cardioversions and all ICU interventions
Monitor cardiac output and utilize advanced equipment like Arctic Sun and NXStage
Document meticulously in Meditech while adapting to acuity-based assignments
Float as needed to support the hospital's dynamic needs

Qualifications

Active RN Texas license (no temp licenses accepted)
BLS and ACLS certifications required
2+ years of MICU or MSICU experience to hit the ground running
CCRN certification preferred for top consideration

Education

RN licensure with relevant ICU nursing education

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with ICU equipment including ventilators and NXStage
Meditech documentation experience
Expertise in central line placements, thoracentesis and dialysis caths
Comfortable with high-acuity patient management
