Roles & Responsibilities

Master routine histology tasks like embedding and microtomy to prepare flawless slides
Perform IHC and special stains with precision to aid critical diagnoses
Utilize digital pathology tools to enhance accuracy and efficiency
Maintain meticulous attention to detail in every step of the process
Collaborate with the histology team using Epic Beaker for seamless workflow

Qualifications

BLS certification
HT (Histotechnician) or HTL (Histotechnologist) certification through ASCP
Minimum 2 years of experience, 3 years preferred

Education

Associates degree preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in routine histology including embed and microtomy
Skilled in IHC and special stains
Proficiency with digital pathology
Detail-oriented approach to lab work
Familiarity with Epic Beaker and Roche equipment
