Shift Type: 12-hour rotating shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend, minimum 2 holidays

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver critical care to trauma, cardiac, and sepsis patients in a 33-bed ICU
Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation with confidence and precision
Interpret and document GE monitor strips while collaborating with tele techs
Manage vents from nasal cannula to advanced support, troubleshooting as needed
Float to PCU or MedSurg maintaining fair patient ratios and high standards
Respond swiftly to on-call needs within 30 minutes to make a real difference

Qualifications

Active RN license with 2+ years of ICU experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Comfortable in EPIC charting system
Valid driver's license for radius rule verification

Education

RN licensure; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in high-acuity cases like strokes, heart failure, and respiratory distress
Proficiency titrating drips and reading tele strips
Strong teamwork with nurse aides and RT equipment handling
