Location: Gunnison, Colorado

Start Date: 05-18-2026

End Date: 08-17-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Three to four 10-hour shifts per week (typically 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM or similar), with call (1-2 days call per week and 1 weekend every 4 weeks)

Hours per Week: 30

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and direct exceptional patient care during pre-operative and post-operative phases
Monitor and respond to physiological patient needs with precision and compassion
Execute surgical team duties as a professional RN, ensuring safety and recovery success
Evaluate all aspects of patient care to deliver outstanding outcomes
Stay proficient in current nursing practices and adapt to new procedures seamlessly

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Clinically competent with PACU or surgical services experience
Ready to complete department-specific training and orientation

Education

Registered Nurse (RN) degree from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in pre-op and post-op patient monitoring
Strong understanding of surgical services standards and guidelines
Excellent organizational and evaluation skills for patient care
Adaptability to new procedures and organizational processes
