Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM with call requirement of one weekend a month and 2-3 days per week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub high-impact cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures like CABG, valves, and TAVR
Assist in complex cases including EVAR, TEVAR, and LVAD placements
Maintain sterile fields during open heart surgeries and level 2 trauma coverage
Collaborate with a dedicated team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Utilize Meditech EMR to ensure seamless documentation and care coordination

Qualifications

CST/ORT certification with at least 2 years of experience
Proven expertise in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic OR cases
Punctual with 30-minute call-back readiness and flexible availability

Education

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Operating Room Technician (ORT) credentials

Knowledge & Skills

Skilled in scrubbing cardiac and vascular procedures
Proficient with Meditech electronic medical records
Self-motivated, team-oriented, and adaptable personality
Familiarity with advanced equipment for open heart surgery
