Shift Type: Rotating shifts including weekends, 36 Hour Guarantee

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide professional nursing care to patients in a birthing center setting
Use critical thinking and independent judgment to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Direct and supervise the nursing patient care team
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality care
Document patient care and progress in a timely manner

Qualifications

2 years of current birthing center experience
BLS (AHA) certification
Michigan state license
Prior travel experience preferred
NRP certification preferred

Education

Current RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

Nursing care and patient assessment
Diagnosis and treatment planning
Implementation and evaluation of patient care
Leadership and team management
Electronic medical records (Cerner)
