Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM (10 hour shifts)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist in heart caths, angioplasties, and stent placements to save lives and restore heart health
Manage Impella patients and structural heart repairs like ASD and VSD, making a real difference
Perform TEEs, cardioversions, and complex ablations with precision and care
Provide pre and post procedure holding, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout
Handle STEMI cases and EP studies, contributing to cutting-edge cardiac interventions

Qualifications

Active Michigan RN license required at time of submission
BLS and ACLS certifications to hit the ground running
Previous Cath Lab experience, strong cardiac proficiency, holding experience, and STEMI experience are must-haves
Phillips and Cerner familiarity preferred, along with prior travel experience

Education

RN licensure with relevant cardiac nursing experience

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac care including coronary and peripheral procedures
Proficiency with advanced cases like lytics, embolizations, pacers, ICDs, and complex ablations
Comfort with Phillips equipment and Cerner EMR in a fast-paced 15-bed unit
